We would like to take this opportunity to wish all of you a very happy Christmas and a healthy, prosperous New Year. With only 3 sleeps to go we hope everyone is looking forward to a well deserved break - after what has been a busy and productive year, we certainly are!
As most of you know, our biggest project for 2010 was migrating to our Managed Services Program - the MSP was a major change to the traditional break/fix method of IT Support. Some of the improvements included:
proactive monitoring and maintaining of servers and workstations
automated alerts and alarms allowing us to quickly identify and resolve issues
streamlined job logging / ticketing system
ability to provide customised reports to show the status of systems and highlight areas of concern
We are pleased that almost 100% of our customers have now moved to the new service. We appreciate your moving forward with us and hope you that you are enjoying the many benefits the MSP has to offer.

Blueprint will be closing at 12:00 midday this Friday 24th and will be closed for the designated public holidays across Christmas and New Year. We will be open for business other than these days however please note that some of us will be taking the opportunity to take some annual leave so we will be a little short on staff. If you do happen to call us and are directed to our messagebank please leave a message - we may just be on another call. All incoming messages are delivered immediately to our mobile phones and will be monitored and responded to as soon as we are able.

Please also note that many of our suppliers close this week and don't open again until early to mid January. If you place any orders over the next couple of weeks we will do our best to source items but there may be delays in shipping.
There are some things you may need to consider if your office is closing down over this time. Take a minute to review the list below, and if you need assistance don’t hesitate to give us a call.
If you have scheduled tape backups, these should be adjusted to skip days when your office is closed.
Make sure your final full backup before your office closure is taken offsite.
Consider testing your Uninterruptible Power Supply before closing the office to ensure it has the ability to ride out any extended power outages, or to shut down your system to protect it.
Consider setting up an Out-of-Office reply on important mailboxes in your organisation. (We don’t recommend shutting down your system fully during the break as this can result in emails which your clients or suppliers may send you during this period, bouncing back to them as undeliverable).
